Buying A Home

Are you ready to buy a home or just interested in learning more about it?  Please click on the Homebuyer’s Guide below for an overview of the home buying process.  When you are ready, we will search for the homes that meet your “must have” criteria.   Then I will set up the showings for you to see them in person at a time that is convenient for you.   Once you find a home that you are interested in, I will compare that home to other like homes that recently sold so that you have the information needed for us to be able to come up with a good offer.  Together, we will discuss the contract offer to be made to the seller and  I will explain the different aspects of the contract to you, then I will prepare it to be sent to the seller.  I will negotiate on your behalf towards your home purchase.  I can also help you with recommendations as needed for inspectors, pest control services, or even lenders if you haven’t yet been pre-approved.  Together, we will find the home you have been dreaming of.

 Listed below is the contact information for a few local MORTGAGE LENDERS. – just click on the name & you will be taken to their websites.  In my opinion, it’s better for a home buyer to use a mortgage lender that you can actually walk into their office and you can meet your lender, as opposed to only being able to reach someone by phone.  That is why I do not recommend using an online mortgage lender, who you’ll never meet in person, and who might disappear on you or you might have a very hard time reaching them.

For the purchase of your home, you’ll need a TITLE COMPANY or attorney for the closing.  Title companies review the title, make sure that all the documents that are required are in proper order for the transaction to close, work with the lender, insurance company and all parties related to the transaction.
